In reference to Dr. J. Rozencwajg's query: Rudolf Hauschka (a Rudolf Steiner scientist), did some interesting work in the 50's testing the growth weight and resistance to disease of wheat berries. He watered them with water boiled over various sources (then cooled the water) and found that water previously boiled over flame engendered vitality, abundant growth and resistance to disease. There was some significant variation based upon the source of flame, but when the line was crossed to boiled water using electricity as a source, the results were particularly dramatic, and the berries were sickly & weak. I hope someday to talk my daughter (15 yoa) into repeating this experiment for school including microwave heated water. Or I may just have to do it on my own. It's always more fun with her though. . . . Ken Morehead, DOM DNAOB Durham, NC .............Paracelsus |
